VICTORY CHURCH

VMusic is the worship ministry of Victory Church. Together, they are a group of musicians, singers, dancers, producers, songwriters, audio and video artists committed to taking the creativity that God has given them and using it to connect others to God through multi-media worship experiences.

Since their first album in 2005, VMusic has been busy leading worship at Victory Church, writing music, and making several full length albums full of original worship songs. Christian recording artist Kristy Starling joined VMusic and began leading worship at Victory Church in 2006 when her husband Adam joined the Pastoral team at Victory.

VMusic’s songwriting began developing when Pastor Jennifer Crow experienced a series of debilitating illnesses and, subsequently, complete healing by God’s power. Out of the healing that she experienced, she began to write songs expressing the love and thanksgiving that flowed out of her heart to God. She taught the songs to the church and many others on the VMusic team began sharing their songs as well. As they bore their hearts and souls before God and the people in worship, a beautiful exchange began to occur. This exchange is perfectly described by Jaron Nix in the song, “A Sound That Brings,” from the Wait album.

“You take this hurt and make it joy. You dry these tears and from me pour a song that I will sing— A sound that brings Your love to the world.”

The messages in the songs of VMusic reflect the truth of its members. They are typical people, living in typical American culture, with typical struggles like everyone else on the planet. But they have learned that connecting to God through music, prayer, and worship is a key component to living a life full of victory and purpose. Their message is this: “God loves you. His song is in you. You were born for Victory.”
